The Appreciation of a Blessed Land of Opportunities...
As an immigrant and international student, my start was very hard. However, God had guided us to succeed and grow our business with honesty and love throw our business visions and decisions.
My History
How we did it...
My name is Claudio Castiglia... I know this is a complicated name...lol I was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil. I went to industrial engineering school, however, I found my passion in international business trade. I migrated to the USA in 1998. My first job in the USA was working at a family-owned Indian business selling electronics and 24hs photo development. It was a great experience to learn about the Orlando, FL metro area making great connections with many hotels and gift shops around the city. I always liked sports and wild adventures. Therefore, this other passion led me to my second job in North America. I became a lifeguard at Wet n’ Wild aquatic park. In this new role, besides keeping my body healthy and in shape, I learned how the operations department of a theme park works. I graduated from my lifeguard class as a “Gold Whistle Guard” with a score of 98%. This new achievement made me very proud especially because I was learning a new language. I went to UCF to learn English as my second language. I continued my education at Valencia Community College where I graduated. At Valencia, I met my beautiful wife. We have been married since 2001 and we built a blessed family of 3 children; two lovely girls and one handsome boy. In 2000, I started working at Busch Entertainment Corporation on a unique project called “Discovery Cove.” The place was still under construction. Discovery Cove is a theme park with a paradise beach atmosphere where you can swim with sharks, tropical fish, and stingrays. You can feed exotic birds and interact with dolphins. It was built as the first man-made coral reef of its kind in the USA. It was very exciting to work in such an inspiring place. I felt like every day was a vacation day at work. My first position at Discovery Cove was as a Senior Guard where I learned about water safety and operations. I was promoted multiple times and worked in several departments at Discovery Cove. As a supervisor of operations, I worked on the following departments between 2000 - 2006: Reception, Guest Services, Special Occasions, Reservations, Park Services, and Purchasing. In 2006, I decided to open my own hospitality distributor using the experience that I had learned from the theme parks. That was how USA Hospitality, INC was formed and started its operations in March 2006. Since then, it has to be my passion and my full-time job experience. I am very thankful and pleased with God to be blessed by providing us with wonderful employees that create our customer's memorable opportunities by covering their business needs with quality products and services. My mission as a General Manager is to provide innovative products to maximize savings for our customers.
